When Mebbit reached the top of the hill, petals were flowing out of the shabby log cabin. Where I opened the door, there was a girl holding a flowerpot with a thin branch. The girl was looking out the window, shedding endless tears of petals. The girl's father said he would come back before the petals fell. The girl was waiting for her father, shedding petals instead of a flowerpot.

메빗이 언덕 정상에 도착했을 때, 허름한 통나무집에서 꽃잎은 흘러나오고 있었다. 문을 열고 들어간 곳엔 앙상한 나뭇가지가 남은 화분을 안고 있는 소녀가 있었다. 소녀는 창밖을 보며, 꽃잎 눈물을 하염없이 흘리고 있었다. 소녀의 아버지는 꽃잎이 지기 전에 돌아온다고 했다. 소녀는 화분 대신 꽃잎을 흘리며 아빠를 기다리고 있었다.
